General Airport Information

Runways

The Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport has two asphalt runways aligned in a north-south and east-west configuration. Runway 9-27 (the primary runway) is 5,646' long and 100' wide.  Runway 18-36 (the crosswind runway) is 4,001' long and 75' wide.


Main Terminal

The general aviation terminal building is located in a modern 5,000 square foot facility containing offices and lounge space. An attached 8,000 square foot open bay hangar with 60 foot door opening and 18'5" ceiling can accommodate a variety of aircraft.


Navigational Aids

Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport has the following NAVAIDS available to assist with approaches to the airport:

  • VOR/DME
  • GPS
  • NDB

Visual Approach Aids

Several visual approach aids are currently located on the Airport and available to pilots. These include:

  • Rotating Beacon
  • Lighted Wind Tee at the intersection of Runways 9-27 and 18-36.
  • Runway End Identification Lights (REILs) off Runway 9 and 27 thresholds .
  • Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI) on Runway 9 and 27 ends.
